Clock assembly manual
Assembly steps
Why do we ship the large Moon Crater and Pie clocks (50 cm) disassembled?
Because of transport. If we shipped the clocks fully assembled, there would be a high risk of damage during shipping – most often the hands could break or the mechanism could get damaged. And we want your clock to arrive in perfect condition. That’s why we pack them disassembled. But don’t worry – assembling the clock is no rocket science, anyone can do it. Each package includes a clear illustrated manual, so you can put your clock together in just a few minutes.

1/ Insert the clock movement (shaft) through the clock face.
2/ Slide the brass washer onto the shaft.
3/ Screw on the hexagonal nut to secure the clock face.
4/ Gently place the hour hand onto the shaft so that it points to 12:00.
5/ Place the minute hand onto the shaft, also pointing to 12:00.
6/ Carefully attach and press down the cover nut. Do not use excessive force, as this could damage the movement.
TIP: When attaching the cover nut, do not press on the shaft – it could be pushed inside the movement and cause it to malfunction. Always set the time using the wheel on the back of the clock movement. Never adjust the hands by moving them manually, as this could damage them or disturb the mechanism.
